Position Purpose
To strategically source and procure indirect materials and services required for business operations, ensuring cost competitiveness, quality, timely delivery, and supplier performance while supporting organizational goals and maintaining compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
Skills and Competencies
Proven experience in MRO procurement and manufacturing-related indirect purchasing.
Knowledge of CAPEX processes and machinery/equipment acquisition.
Experience in supplier negotiations, competitive bidding, and supplier development.
Experience managing and controlling plant operating expense budgets.
Proficiency in ERP systems and analytical tools.
Advanced English proficiency is required
Responsabilities
Manage the procurement of indirect materials and services required to support plant operations.
Oversee purchasing categories such as MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), production line supplies, manufacturing consumables, welding materials, and office and janitorial supplies.
Lead supplier bidding, sourcing, and contract negotiation processes.
Participate in CAPEX projects by coordinating the acquisition of machinery and equipment in collaboration with Finance and Operations teams.
Manage and control plant operating expense budgets.
