Position Purpose
Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials in a timely manner while consistently securing the best balance between cost, quality, and service. Manage and develop the Prototype Warehouse team, maintain control of the materials budget, and oversee logistics-related activities, including supplier negotiations, customs issue follow-up, and resolution of import/export challenges to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Requirements
Advanced English proficiency.
Excel skills.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Skills and Competencies
Basic knowledge of import and export processes.
Basic knowledge of supplier evaluation, including cost, quality, delivery, and capacity.
INCOTERMS.
Experience managing operational and administrative personnel.
Experience using SAP.

Responsabilities
Ensure material quotations are submitted on time according to the committed due dates.
Purchase components within the required project timelines, seeking the best possible negotiation terms for KATCON.
Negotiate pricing, lead times, and quality conditions to obtain the best overall commercial proposal.
Coordinate production materials for the plants and ensure timely availability.
Support the coordination of annual and cycle inventory counts.
Create and maintain component master data in SAP.
Generate purchase orders based on approved purchase requisitions.
Collaborate with different departments, including Product Engineering, to resolve questions, issues, and material-related requirements.
