Position Purpose
The following outlines the qualifications, skills, and knowledge required for the position.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Mechatronics Engineering, Administrative Mechanical Engineering (IMA), Mechanical-Electrical Engineering (IME), Industrial Engineering (IA), or Mechanical Engineering (IM).
More than 2 years of experience in BOM management and manufacturing processes is preferred.
Recent graduates with a strong academic record are also encouraged to apply.
Skills and Competencies
Knowledge of CAD design software.
Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Knowledge of Materials Engineering principles.
Understanding of manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with heat transfer concepts.
Basic knowledge of fluid dynamics analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of commitment and a strong sense of urgency.
Responsabilities
Design and develop components for exhaust system applications.
Create and review 2D technical drawings, ensuring compliance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
Perform tolerance stack-up analyses.
Develop and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials).
Generate, validate, and optimize prototypes.
Select appropriate materials based on design and performance requirements.
Evaluate and select manufacturing processes to improve product design.
Support cost-reduction initiatives through engineering analysis and design optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality, delivery timelines, and customer requirements.
