Position Purpose
Ensure that materials, components, and processes supplied by vendors meet established quality standards through inspection activities, performance monitoring, deviation analysis, and coordination of corrective actions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience.
Skills and Competencies
Knowledge of Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and product standards.
Proficiency in using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, comparators, etc.).
Management of quality deviations, complaints, and root cause analysis.
Execution of inspections of incoming materials, work-in-process, and finished products.
Participation in internal and supplier audits.
Basic knowledge of automotive standards and regulations (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
Preparation and control of quality documentation (8D reports, control plans, reports, checklists).
Responsabilities
Follow up on the quality of materials received from suppliers.
Support the preparation, control, and updating of quality documentation (Control Plans, FMEA, 8D reports, etc.).
Conduct inspections, deviation reports, and root cause analysis.
Participate in internal and supplier audits.
Manage corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain direct communication with suppliers to resolve issues and ensure compliance with requirements.
Support the implementation of improvements in quality and manufacturing processes.
