Position Purpose
The following outlines the qualifications, skills, and knowledge required for the position.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Supplier Quality.
Advanced English proficiency.
Skills and Competencies
Advanced English proficiency.
Knowledge of ISO and IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems.
Experience with ISO 14001.
Experience conducting supplier audits.
Knowledge of quality areas (Incoming, processes, laboratory, and outgoing inspection), GD&T, IMDS, and Core Tools.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Willingness to travel.
Responsabilities
Coordinate and oversee supplier quality.
Conduct audits at supplier facilities.
Implement corrective actions to improve quality processes.
Approve and follow up on PPAPs with suppliers for purchased components and engineering changes.
Manage the Incoming Quality area.
Support supplier development activities.
Manage supplier scorecards.
Issue and follow up on QPRs with suppliers.
Ensure purchased parts meet the required specifications and standards.
Develop and follow up on the supplier audit program.
Participate directly in internal and external audits.
Use statistical analysis tools such as Minitab.
Participate in the preparation and follow-up of PPAPs.
